My story
La Spiga Amica … is an artisanal workshop producing fresh pasta, bread, and pastries that produces everything gluten-free .
Antonella came up with the idea of offering traditional Bolognese artisanal products to celiacs after discovering she was celiac.
I was diagnosed with celiac disease way back in 1995 , a year when the availability of gluten-free products was still limited. In the years that followed, my three children were also diagnosed with the same condition. The desire to keep them from feeling too different from others and the joy of seeing them eat the same foods as their classmates led me to spend a lot of time in the kitchen developing a wide variety of gluten-free recipes. I decided to make fresh pasta for celiacs the day I saw my 4-year-old crying at the Christmas table because he couldn't eat tortellini. He had just received the diagnosis and couldn't hold back the tears. I told him, "Mommy's taking care of it now."
This is how "La S…. A…." was born. Since 2019, there has also been a store in Milan, in addition to the main office in Bologna, and a team of over 10 employees.
The workshop aims to provide “friendly” support to all those who need to give up the ear of corn, which is considered an “enemy.”

The foods are all artisanal, handmade with fresh, genuine ingredients, primarily from the Emilian tradition.
Lasagna, tortellini, tortelloni, tagliatelle, and passatelli are no longer distant and unattainable objects of desire for celiacs, because there are those who knead them with care, patience, and attention to flavor. Like raviole Bolognese, crescentine, and tigelle. The workshop now also produces large birthday and wedding cakes, panettone, pandoro, and Easter dove cakes, because celiac disease is an increasingly common problem and there is a new focus on food intolerances.
We also cook special dishes upon request.
We are also happy to create dishes for other types of intolerances!

Many of our products are registered in the National Register of Gluten-Free Foods of the Ministry of Health and can therefore be purchased by celiacs in Emilia Romagna (Bologna store) and Lombardy (Milan store) using ASL vouchers and a health card.

La Spiga Amica has joined the Out of Home Food circuit of the Italian Celiac Association ( AIC ) in the artisan workshops category for both the Bologna branch and the Milan sales point.
